First thing you need to do is domain name registration, think of a name that reflects your niche, do not chose a very long name so that people will find difficult to remember that name. On registering your domain name you need to do add the name server of your web host. To do this you need to set up an account at any free web hosting site. I suggest x10hosting or awardspace.

Once you create a account at the hosting site you will have to find out its name server and assign the same at the domain name setting panel. Usually the name server will look like this “ns1.x10hosting.com”. If you are done with this much you are half done with your website.

Next what you can do is install WordPress into your site, WordPress is a content management site using which you can create a blog kind of website. You can also use other clients like Joomla, Drupal etc. But I suggest WordPress as it is more flexible and easy to use. You can customize WordPress easily.

After installing WordPress you can start posting articles on your site. Now to earn money from your site you need to sign up with ad publishing agencies like Google AdSense, AdBrite, Clixor, etc. AdBrite would be a good choice for beginners as Google won’t accept fresh sites. You can also sign up with affiliates like commission junction, click bank etc. You will have to place their link on your website and you will get commission for the products sold through your website. There are people who survive only from the income they get from their website. There are people who earn around $5000 per month just from the ads. So this is the easy method for earning through internet.

But the main factor for the success of a website is to get traffic, so research internet and find out which method of website marketing suits you and start earning.
