In this tutorial I am going to walk you through the X Theme For WordPress. By the end of this series, you will learn how to create your own fully responsive WordPress website that is integrated with Buddypress, bbPress, and other important plugins to keep your site working like a well-oiled machine and protected from spam bots.

The X Theme is one of my favorite themes for WordPress for many reasons. I will name a few.

X comes with four, fully designed Stacks that you can activate with a single click of a button. X Stacks, are also known as WordPress Templates. These stacks are the starting point to your design. All four Stacks serve a unique purpose and will work independently for various business models. It will be completely up to you to determine what Stack is right for your business needs.

X THEME STACKS INCLUDE:

1. Integrity

2. Renew

3. Icon

4. Ethos

Integrity offers a clean, sleek design that has pinstripe shadowing around elements and borders throughout the layout. I personally use this Stack for my site as it conforms really well to the Online Marketing Niche.

Renew offers a flat design that is modern and focused on functionality and color depth. This is a very nice Stack if you are looking for a modern yet stylish design for your business.

Icon is a minimal design that uses unique elements to set it apart from the other Stacks. Icon reminds me of Apple, or a site that is fully-focused on imagery and low distraction points. This Stack looks amazing in any layout, but my favorite is the left header layout and the sidebar fixed on the right.

Ethos is perfect if you have a business that is fully focused on magazine style layouts. This Stack is very unique in the way it presents blogs posts and widget content.

Ultimately, all four Stacks offer the ability to have your Header position as: top static, top fixed, left header and right header positioning. This makes the X Theme a powerhouse when it comes to custom options for your individual needs. X is also optimized for speed with every line of code. I have tested a lot of themes with Google PageSpeed Insights and the X Theme is well optimized, which makes me a happy camper.

X offers 40 shortcodes you can use to add stunning features in your WordPress pages. There are so many amazing shortcodes, but just to highlight a few.

1. According’s

2. Tabs

3. Colored Container

4. Content Band

5. Killer Buttons

6. Columnize Content

7. Animated Counters

8. Custom Headlines

9. Featured Headlines

10. Text Highlighting

11. Social Sharing

12. Icon Bullet Point List

13. Tooltip Popups

14. Promo

15. Protected Content

16. Responsive Lightbox

17. Table Of Content

and many more!

X Theme Offers Integration with Buddypress, bbPress and a Wide Range of Extensions.

Unlike most themes on the market for WordPress, X is fully integrated with Buddypress and bbPress. This is extremely important if you want to run a social community on your site.

I absolutely love how easy X has made it to setup. With a few clicks and some simple configurations, you can have your WordPress site ready for the big leagues. Ultimately, you will have the ability to run multiple forums, private messaging, friend requests, social groups, and much more using the X Themes extension add-ons.

You will never have to worry about having enough features with the X theme. Everything you need to run your online business is a few clicks away.
